Where are you from?

I’m from Frederick, Maryland, which is about an hour away from D.C. and Baltimore. Its a pretty quiet area for the most part, and downtown Frederick is where pretty much everyone is at during the weekends.

Oh, we also have really pretty sunsets.

What did you want to be when you were a child?

For the longest time, I wanted to be a paleontologist. I loved digging in dirt and making mud pies, so I guess I wanted to turn my passion into a career (?). All I wanted to do was travel around the world and dig up dinosaur bones all day. Guess I didn’t realize i’d be spending half the time in a lab, conducting research…

What’s your favorite book?

I don’t have a specific favorite book, as it changes all the time. One of my recent favorites is called “Leaving Time”.

What’s your favorite food?

This one also changes too, but right now I LOVE Spanish paella! Now that I’m back living in America, I miss it every day!

If money was no object, where would your ultimate trip be to?

TAHITI. I’ve dreamed of coming here since I was 12. I would love to go on a luxury trip and tour around the French Polynesian islands. Bora Bora is #1 on my list.
